The Standard Chartered Foundation, in partnership with the Pan-Atlantic University Enterprise Development Centre, is now accepting applications for the Standard Chartered Futuremakers Women in Tech (WiT) Nigeria Program 2026.

The Women in Tech Nigeria Program is designed to empower women who are building or planning to build technology-driven businesses. The program provides participants with advanced tech training, business development support, mentorship, and investor exposure to help scale their ventures and strengthen their entrepreneurial capacity.

Program Details

The Standard Chartered Futuremakers Women in Tech (WiT) Nigeria Program is an accelerator initiative aimed at supporting women-led or women-owned technology businesses. The program focuses on helping female entrepreneurs leverage technology to grow innovative businesses and drive economic development.

Currently implemented in Nigeria, Kenya, the UAE, and Pakistan, the initiative seeks to increase diversity, innovation, and leadership of women within the technology ecosystem. Through structured training and entrepreneurial development, the program helps women refine their business ideas, strengthen operational capacity, and prepare their startups for growth and investment.

Participants will receive comprehensive support through business advisory services and financial interventions, including specialized entrepreneurial programs and funding opportunities. The accelerator also provides participants with the tools and networks required to scale their businesses successfully.

The six-month program includes intensive entrepreneurial development sessions such as:

  • High-Value Mini MBA Program
  • Women Entrepreneurs’ Transformation Programme
  • Opportunities to pitch for financial grants to scale businesses
  • Access to portfolio managers and business advisors

The Women in Tech Accelerator is funded by the Standard Chartered Foundation through the Futuremakers initiative and is implemented by the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) in partnership with Village Capital.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Standard Chartered Futuremakers Women in Tech (WiT) Nigeria Program, applicants must:

  • Be a woman interested in technology and innovation
  • Be passionate about building or growing a technology-focused business
