The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) is offering the Foreign Postgraduate Scholarship Programme as part of its commitment to developing human capacity in the Niger Delta region.   • Have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)
  • Possess a First Degree with at least Second Class Lower Division (2:2) for applicants seeking admission into a Master’s Programme
  • Not belong to any cult group and must not have a criminal record
  • Have secured admission for a postgraduate programme in any of the listed disciplines in a recognized foreign university

After submission, the selection process will include the following stages:

  • Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted by the Commission’s consultants in Rivers State
  • Candidates must score at least 70% in the test to proceed to the next stage
  • Successful candidates will undergo further shortlisting
  • Final verification will be carried out through the Local Government Area (LGA) and Community Development Committee (CDC)

Preference may be given to candidates from oil-producing host communities and local government areas, provided they meet the approved cutoff score in the selection process.
