Program Details
The NNPC Limited, in collaboration with Seplat Energy, has announced the opening of applications for its annual Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) aimed at empowering young Nigerians with entrepreneurial and technical skills.
The NNPC Seplat YEP Program is a structured capacity-building initiative focused on equipping participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to design, install, and maintain solar and mini-grid energy systems. Through this initiative, participants are trained to contribute to expanding access to reliable electricity, particularly in underserved and off-grid communities across Nigeria.
Since the program began in 2024, the initiative has successfully trained 129 participants from different parts of Nigeria, helping them gain valuable skills in renewable energy solutions and entrepreneurship.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the NNPC Seplat Youth Entrepreneurship Program 2026, applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Have a valid personal email address for communication during the application process
- Show interest in solar and mini-grid installation, maintenance, and clean energy solutions
