Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Chevening British Library Fellowship, applicants must:
- Demonstrate strong leadership potential and the ability to influence in their professional field
- Show personal, intellectual, and interpersonal qualities aligned with leadership potential
- Be a citizen of one of the eligible countries listed for the fellowship
- Commit to returning to their home country after completing the fellowship
- Hold a postgraduate qualification or possess equivalent professional training or relevant experience
- Have at least five years of significant professional or academic research experience
- Be currently employed or enrolled as a PhD candidate (PhD candidates must not be studying at a UK, EU, or USA university)
- Meet the minimum English language requirement for Chevening Awards
- Not hold British citizenship or dual British citizenship
- Not be a current or former employee, or relative of an employee, of Her Majesty’s Government within the last two years, including British embassies, high commissions, and related departments

Fellowship Benefits
