Eligibility Criteria

  • Apply for a Master’s or Advanced Master’s program at a participating Belgian university
  • The program must include at least 60 ECTS credits per academic year
  • Demonstrate strong academic performance
  • Provide proof of English language proficiency according to the host university’s requirements
  • Be academically admitted by a Flemish higher education institution before receiving the scholarship
  • Ensure that the previous degree used for admission was not obtained from a Flemish institution
  • Not already be enrolled in a Flemish institution (except some students currently in preparatory programs)
  • Be nominated by only one Flemish higher education institution
  • Be an international student (except Russian nationals)
  • Note that the scholarship cannot be used for preparatory, bridging, or distance-learning programs

Applicants must prepare the following documents:

  • Copy of passport or national ID
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Academic transcripts from previous studies
  • Proof of English language proficiency (based on university requirements)

  • Two signed recommendation letters from professors or an employer
  • Copy of academic diploma(s)
  • Profile photograph
  • Certified translation for any document not written in English, Dutch, French, or German
