Scholarship Details
The COMSATS University Islamabad Scholarship is designed to attract talented international students and provide them with opportunities to access high-quality education in Pakistan. Through this initiative, CUI collaborates with foreign governments and organizations to sponsor nominated students to study at the university.
Currently, over 400 international students from 18 different countries are enrolled across various undergraduate and postgraduate programs at COMSATS University campuses.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the COMSATS University Islamabad Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a 16-year degree in a relevant field (for Master’s applicants)
- Provide NTS GAT (General) with a minimum score of 50 or pass a departmental test
- Have a minimum CGPA of 2.5/4.0 (semester system) or at least 60% in the annual system
- Provide English language proof, which may include:
- IELTS minimum 6.0 band, or
- TOEFL Internet-based test with a minimum score of 70, or
- English proficiency certificate from the last attended institution
For PhD applicants, the following additional requirements apply:
- Possess 18 years of education (MS/M.Phil with thesis or an equivalent degree) in a relevant field
- Have a minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 (semester system) or 70% marks in the conventional system
- Maintain a strong academic record without a third division or ‘D’ grade throughout the academic career
- Provide NTS GAT (Subject) with a minimum score of 60 or pass a departmental test

- Statement of Purpose or Research Plan
- Scanned copies of degrees and academic transcripts for all post-secondary education (with English translations if required)
- Recent passport-size photographs with white background
- Scan of a valid passport
- Proof of English language proficiency such as IELTS, TOEFL, or an English proficiency certificate from the last attended institution
