Sponsored by Rotary International, the fellowship is awarded annually to up to 170 exceptional individuals who demonstrate strong leadership potential, a proven commitment to peacebuilding, and the capacity to drive meaningful change within their communities and beyond.

Scholarship Details
The Rotary Peace Fellowship Program was established to identify, train, and connect future global leaders dedicated to peace and development. Through Rotary Peace Centers across the world, the program provides fellows with advanced academic training, applied field experience, and extensive global networking opportunities.
Since its inception, Rotary Peace Centers have trained over 1,500 fellows from diverse regions, equipping them with the skills and tools required to act as effective peacebuilders and change-makers. The fellowship emphasizes grassroots impact, leadership development, and practical engagement, viewing peace not merely as a concept but as a foundation for sustainable human development. Fellows receive instruction from leading research-informed educators and gain exposure to real-world peace and development initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria
To be qualified for the Rotary Peace Fellowship Program, applicants must:
- Demonstrate proficiency in English
- Show a strong record of leadership and peacebuilding initiatives
- Provide evidence of academic achievement and personal or community service
- Hold a completed bachelor’s degree (for Master’s applicants)
- Have at least three years of relevant experience for the Master’s program
- Have at least five years of relevant experience for the Certificate program
- Not be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program
- Present a clear action plan (Certificate program applicants only)
- Observe a minimum three-year gap if previously awarded a Rotary certificate or Global Grant before applying for the Master’s fellowship
- Note that active Rotary members, Rotary employees, and their immediate family members are not eligible
- Candidates with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply

Successful applicants of the Rotary Peace Fellowship Program will receive:
