Scholarship Details
Applications for the 2026 Guangxi Medical University Scholarship are now open for qualified international candidates. Guangxi Medical University, one of the earliest medical universities in China to enroll international students—including those from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and overseas Chinese—is also among the first 30 medical universities authorized by the Ministry of Education to offer MBBS programs.
The scholarship is designed to provide international students with access to world-class medical education while promoting cross-cultural academic exchange.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be non-Chinese citizens in good health
- Hold a bachelor’s degree and be born after March 31, 1990 (for Master’s applicants)
- Hold a master’s degree and be born after March 31, 1985 (for Doctoral applicants)
- Not be receiving other types of Chinese Government Scholarships simultaneously
- If graduating in July 2025, provide a Provisional Certificate
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants will receive a fully funded scholarship, which includes:
- Tuition fees, campus accommodation, and comprehensive medical insurance fully covered
- Living stipend: 3,000 CNY/month for Master’s students and 3,500 CNY/month for Doctoral students
- Waiver of application fees and other related charges

- Login to the Chinese Government Scholarship Study Abroad Management Information System
- Click on the red “CREATE AN ACCOUNT” button in the upper right corner to register a new account (even if you already have a CSC account, a new application is required)
- Fill in personal application information, submit, and print the Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form online
- Upload all required scholarship application documents as listed on the system
- Guangxi Medical University will conduct a preliminary review, followed by a telephone or online interview for shortlisted candidates
- Ensure that the application is submitted before the deadline, as late applications will not be accepted
