The Yunnan University of Finance and Economics Chinese Government Scholarship (High-Level Postgraduate Program) is a fully funded initiative established by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China to attract high-caliber international students to Chinese universities.
Yunnan University of Finance and Economics is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary institution with over 66 years of academic excellence. The university offers a complete education system spanning bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees, with strong academic strengths in economics and management, as well as law, philosophy, literature, science, engineering, and arts.
For the 2026 academic session, YUFE will admit full-time international postgraduate students under the Chinese Government Scholarship scheme, providing them with access to quality education, advanced research facilities, and a vibrant academic environment in China.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Yunnan University of Finance and Economics Scholarship 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a non-Chinese citizen
- For Master’s programs:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree
- Be under 35 years of age
- For Doctoral programs:
- Hold a master’s degree
- Be under 40 years of age
- Meet Chinese language proficiency requirements (HSK Level 4 for Chinese-taught programs) or satisfy language conditions for English-taught programs
- Fulfill the academic and admission requirements of the chosen program
