Internship Details
The NSTC International Internship Pilot Program (IIPP) was established to attract talented international students and researchers to Taiwan and expose them to the country’s strengths as the global “Silicon Island.” Based on the research themes of participating projects, interns will engage in relevant research, innovation, and learning activities during the internship period. The program supports the development of key scientific research areas, enhances global collaboration, and contributes to Taiwan’s industrial upgrading. Interns receive continuous mentorship and support, helping them understand Taiwan’s academic and research culture while building valuable professional networks across academia, government, and industry.
The Science and Technology Policy Research and Information Center (STPI) plays a major role in connecting international interns with universities and research institutions throughout Taiwan.
