- Not be receiving another equivalent scholarship, award, or salary exceeding 75% of the base RTP stipend rate
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants for the Tasmania Graduate Research Scholarship 2026 will receive funding through either the Research Training Program (RTP) or TGRS, which includes:
- Living allowance stipend of $34,315 per annum (2026 rate, indexed annually) for up to 3.5 years
- Relocation allowance of up to $2,000
- Tuition fee offset covering tuition costs for up to four years
- Domestic applicants receive an RTP tuition fee offset
- International applicants receive a University of Tasmania Fees Offset for up to four years
