Important: Eligibility is determined by state of origin, not the state where the applicant’s school or institution is located.

Basic Requirements

General Requirements (All Applicants)

Applicants must:

  • Be a Muslim
  • Be actively involved in an Islamic organisation, such as:
    • MSS/MSA (campus-based)
    • Local mosque activities
    • Recognised Islamic or Da’wah organisations
  • Come from a low-income family
  • Be enrolled in a public institution or public secondary school
  • Be willing to attend a physical interview if shortlisted
  • Note that only successful applicants will be contacted

Undergraduate Requirements

Undergraduate applicants must meet at least one of the following academic criteria:

  • Minimum CGPA of 2.0 / 4.0, or
  • Minimum CGPA of 3.0 / 5.0, or
  • Minimum CGPA of 4.2 / 7.0, or
  • Minimum of 60% average for institutions without a GPA system

In addition:

  • Applicants must attach their first semester result during application

Public Secondary School Requirements (SS2 Only)

Secondary school applicants must:

  • Be in SS2 in a public secondary school
  • Have a credit pass in at least five (5) subjects, including:
    • English Language
    • Mathematics
