Scholarship Details
Applications are now open for the 2026 Spring Postgraduate Admission for Master’s and Doctoral programs at Khalifa University. The University provides competitive and fully funded scholarship packages aimed at supporting international students pursuing graduate studies. Scholarship consideration is automatically integrated into the admission process—there is no separate scholarship application.
Applicants are evaluated and assigned to specific scholarship tiers (full-time or part-time) based on academic excellence and other institutional criteria. The availability of slots is limited, and meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee selection. This scholarship supports the university’s mission of advancing high-level research, innovation, and knowledge development.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree with at least a 3.5/4.0 CGPA for direct Bachelor-to-PhD entry, or
- Completion of a Master’s degree with a minimum 3.25/4.0 CGPA
- Minimum English proficiency:
- TOEFL iBT score of 91 or
- IELTS score of 6.5 or
- 1550 EmSAT English score
- Minimum 150 quantitative score in the GRE General Test
- Submission of two referee recommendations
- A Statement of Purpose (500–1,000 words)
- A Research Statement (500–1,000 words) for PhD applicants
- Participation in an admission interview
