Scholarship Details
The Erasmus Mundus REPLAY Scholarship is a two-year international Master’s programme designed to bring together students from around the world to explore, create, and innovate within the field of game design. The initiative focuses on helping students develop the ability to design, experiment with, and produce purposeful game experiences using advanced techniques and industry-focused approaches.
The program is jointly delivered by three leading European game-design institutions: Lusófona University in Lisbon (Portugal), LUCA School of Arts in Genk (Belgium), and Aalto University in Helsinki (Finland). Throughout the study period, selected candidates will be immersed in three different creative ecosystems, each offering unique perspectives on artistic expression, technological development, and game production. The goal is to empower students to push the boundaries of creativity, innovation, and social impact through game design.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Erasmus Mundus REPLAY Scholarship, applicants must:
- Have completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
- Demonstrate English proficiency
- Meet all programme and institutional entry requirements
Applicants will be evaluated based on:
- Academic quality, assessed through previous university results
- Motivation and alignment with the program, based on the CV, motivation letter, analytical strength, and portfolio/showreel
- English language skills, assessed through submitted certificates and the interview
Applicants with the highest scores will be invited for an online interview. Those who do not qualify will be notified via email.
