Program Details
The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) developed the Oil and Gas Field Readiness Training Program to enhance local capacity and equip young Nigerians with practical skills required for employment in ongoing and upcoming oil and gas projects across the country.
The initiative emphasizes real-world training through partnerships with multiple certified service companies, enabling participants to gain direct field exposure, industry-relevant knowledge, and professional certifications. This program aims to build a skilled workforce that will support and sustain Nigeria’s rapidly evolving energy and petroleum sector.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Be below 35 years of age
- Hold an OND / HND / BSc in:
- Engineering
- Sciences
- Technology
- Or other related disciplines
