The Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalization Programme (YEIDEP) is designed to engage Nigerian youths in meaningful economic activities that support national development, reduce unemployment, and strengthen security. The program provides access to enterprise training, mentorship, and financial empowerment to help youths build sustainable businesses. YEIDEP also aims to support young people in becoming job creators, income earners, and contributors to community and economic transformation across the country.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Possess a valid NIN and BVN
- Show interest in or already be engaged in any productive venture such as:
- Agriculture
- Fashion
- Technology (ICT)
- Entertainment
- Sports
- Renewable Energy
- Other income-generating businesses
- Have or be willing to open an account with Lotus Bank, Keystone Bank, or Fidelity Bank
- Be available to participate in the required training and mentorship sessions
