Ondo Government Sets Up Staff Audit and Verification Team for Adekunle Ajasin University

,The Ondo State Government has established a staff audit and verification team for Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko (AAUA). The development was disclosed in a circular issued by the university’s Registrar, Olugbenga Arajulu.

According to the circular, the verification exercise will take place from Monday, October 20, to Thursday, October 23, 2025, covering all faculties and administrative units of the institution.

On Monday, staff from the Faculties of Administration and Management, Sciences, Agriculture, Allied and Health Sciences, Arts, Education, Environmental Design and Management, Computing, and Law will be verified.

The exercise will continue on Tuesday for staff in the University Library, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Social Sciences, the Vice Chancellor’s Office, Academic Planning, University Advancement Office, and the AAUA Business School.

Verification for staff in the Registry, Bursary, Works and Services, Physical Planning and Development, Student Affairs, Institute of Education (IOE), Institute of Part-Time Programmes (IPTP), GST, ICTAC, Gender Studies and Development Centre, Distance Learning Centre, Central Research Laboratory, and Quality Assurance will take place on Wednesday.

On Thursday, the process will cover personnel in the Sports Centre, Centre for Entrepreneurship, Centre for Drug Development and Administration, Centre for Space Energy and Environmental Research, Centre for Pre-Degree, and the Security Unit.

Other offices scheduled for verification include Internal Audit, Health Centre, Postgraduate School (PGS), Centre for Research and Development, Fire Service, Centre for Linkages and International Programmes, Teaching and Leadership Centre, University Staff School, and SIWES.

The circular outlined the documents required for the verification and biometric exercise to include a letter of appointment, confirmation letter, promotion and advancement/conversion letters, as well as educational certificates from the ordinary level to the highest qualification.

Additional documents include approval for change of name (where applicable), BVN and NIN printouts, primary six leaving certificate, birth certificate, and other relevant credentials.

The university management advised all staff members to adhere strictly to the verification timetable and ensure full compliance with the requirements.
