Scholarship Details
The QuTech Academy Scholarship is designed for exceptional international students passionate about quantum science and technology who wish to pursue their Master’s degree at TU Delft. The program aims to attract top talents to the field of quantum engineering, preparing them for future leadership and research roles. Applicants can choose to follow the QuTech Academy programme within one of TU Delft’s MSc tracks under the Faculty of Applied Sciences or the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science, or apply directly for the MSc in Quantum Information Science & Technology (QIST).
The scholarship not only provides financial support for the duration of the MSc programme but also offers an exciting pathway to a PhD position at QuTech for students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance, innovation, and research potential.
Eligibility Criteria
To be qualified for the QuTech Academy Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
- Be an international student with a strong academic background and interest in quantum science and technology
- Have a cumulative GPA of 80% or higher from a recognized, internationally reputable university
- Be admitted into one of TU Delft’s MSc programmes within the Faculty of Applied Sciences or the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science
- Be willing to enroll in all QuTech Academy courses as part of the scholarship requirements
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion (female students and underrepresented groups in quantum sciences are especially encouraged to apply)
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants of the QuTech Academy Scholarship 2026 will receive:
- Full tuition fee coverage for the TU Delft MSc programme
- Living allowance for two years to support living and study expenses
- A guaranteed PhD position at QuTech upon completion of the MSc programme with a thesis grade of 9 (90%) or higher
