Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the University of Twente Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
- Already have a conditional admission to a UT Master’s program for the 2026/2027 academic year
- Possess a student number at the University of Twente
- Belong to the top 5% – 10% of their graduating class academically
- Not be a graduate of any UT undergraduate or postgraduate program
- Meet the general English language requirements:
- IELTS: minimum 6.5 overall, with at least 6.0 in speaking
- TOEFL iBT: minimum 90 overall, with at least 20 in speaking
- Fulfil the conditions to obtain a Dutch entry visa
- Not be eligible for a Dutch study loan
- Be from a non-EU/EEA country
- Not be enrolled in a pre-master’s program
- Not be applying for programs at the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants of the University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) 2026 will receive:
- Financial support ranging between €3,000 and €22,000 for one academic year
- Funds transferred directly to the student to cover living expenses, textbooks, and other study-related costs
- Opportunity to renew the scholarship for the second year of a Master’s program (based on excellent academic results)
