The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has instructed all candidates seeking admission for the 2025 academic session to re-upload their O’level results on its official portal.
This directive applies to candidates who previously uploaded their results before the official release of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). JAMB clarified that earlier uploads have been cleared from its system to ensure accuracy and prevent the use of incomplete or unofficial results.
In its latest weekly bulletin released on Monday, the Board explained that some candidates who applied with “awaiting results” had uploaded partial WAEC records prematurely. To address this, JAMB has now made it compulsory for all candidates, regardless of whether their new results differ from previous uploads, to re-submit their complete 2025 SSCE results.
“All UTME candidates are advised to urgently re-upload their O’level results on the JAMB portal to remain eligible for admission consideration,” the bulletin stated.
Additionally, JAMB has announced the deadline for the completion of the 2025 admission process, in line with resolutions from the 2025 Policy Meeting chaired by the Minister of Education. Public universities are required to finalise admissions by October 31, 2025. The deadline aims to ensure a smooth academic calendar and an equitable admission process across institutions.
