The Federal Government has approved the construction of a new Senate building at the University of Benin (UNIBEN).
This was disclosed in a statement released on Sunday by the university’s Public Relations Officer, Benedicta Ehanire.
According to Ehanire, the approval—granted by the Federal Executive Council—was formally conveyed to the university’s vice-chancellor, Professor Edoba Omoregie. She added that construction work on the project will begin immediately.
Ehanire described UNIBEN as one of Africa’s foremost institutions of higher learning and a top choice for students in search of quality education.
