Scholarship Details
The TotalEnergies National Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMSS) is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives aimed at supporting deserving Nigerian undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The scholarship is awarded annually to first and second-year undergraduates as an educational intervention to ease the financial burden of tuition and living expenses. Since its inception in 2003, the NNPC TotalEnergies Scholarship Scheme has provided financial assistance to over 39,000 students enrolled in Nigerian tertiary institutions.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the TotalEnergies National Scholarship 2025, applicants must:
- Be a first-year (100L) or second-year (200L) student of a Nigerian NUC-accredited university
- Be enrolled as a full-time student of their institution
- Have scored at least 200 in the last UTME
- Possess a minimum of 2.5 CGPA on a 5.0 grade system
- Not be a current beneficiary of a similar scholarship from any entity in the oil and gas industry
Scholarship Benefits
Selected candidates will be awarded up to ₦200,000 per year to cover the costs of tuition and living expenses until the end of their program.
