Scholarship Details
Applications are now open for the 2025 A*STAR Computing and Information Science (ACIS) Scholarship. This scholarship is aimed at exceptional individuals who want to pursue PhD research in cutting-edge CIS areas like AI, machine learning, deep learning in healthcare, data analytics, and simulation modelling.
Scholars will be supported for up to four years and will gain opportunities to work on impactful research in collaboration with industry leaders and academic institutions.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be open to both Singaporeans and international students
- Hold or be completing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an autonomous university
- Have achieved (or be on track to achieve) at least a Second Upper Class Honours degree or equivalent
- Applicants in their final undergraduate semester can apply but must meet minimum grade requirements
- Meet the admission criteria for PhD programmes at autonomous universities in Singapore
- Demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a CIS research career in industry, academia, or tech startups
