Program Details
The NGO Support Initiative (NSI) is designed to empower grassroots organizations committed to youth development, gender equality, and social justice. Implemented by the dRPC, Nigeria’s foremost intermediary non-profit with over three decades of experience in sub-granting and capacity building, this initiative provides both financial and strategic support to NGOs with a track record of impact.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the NGO Support Initiative Grant, applicants must:
- Be a registered NGO (individual applications will not be accepted)
- Have at least 5 years of active operation and programming
- Be based in any LGA or state in Nigeria
- Be willing to complete their project within a 3-month implementation window
- Provide full disclosure on the NGO’s leadership and management (women-led status is not mandatory)
- Submit proof of a call for proposal or platform for submission as part of the application
Grant Benefits
Successful NGOs will receive:
- Up to ₦5 million in funding to support their project
- A 4-module virtual training program covering essential skills such as project management and advocacy
- The chance to be recommended to social impact investors for future funding and expansion opportunities
