Siwajuola Oladipupo, a student of Babcock University who had been missing for several days, was found alive on Sunday, bringing relief to his family and loved ones. His mother, Omotayo Fijabi, who had been vocal about his disappearance on social media, confirmed the news in a Facebook post, writing, “My son has been found.”

Ms Fijabi had gone live on Facebook just a day earlier, renewing her plea for assistance after losing contact with her son for over 72 hours. Her appeal prompted swift attention from both the Ogun State Government and the management of Babcock University.

In a follow-up message on Sunday, she expressed gratitude to the public for their concern and efforts, acknowledging that their support played a vital role. However, she refrained from sharing specific details, citing the sensitive nature of the situation.

“My focus right now is on my son’s recovery and understanding what truly happened,” she said. “We are following strict instructions due to the delicacy of this matter. I assure everyone that a full explanation will be provided once the time is right. Thank you for your patience, support, and prayers.”
