Scholarship Details
The WIPO Academy, in partnership with Africa University (Mutare, Zimbabwe) and ARIPO (African Regional Intellectual Property Organization), offers this fully-funded Master’s program with support from the Government of Japan.
This Master’s degree combines academic theory with practical legal frameworks in the field of intellectual property. The WIPO Academy serves as a global hub for IP education and capacity building, particularly focused on developing and least-developed countries.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the WIPO Academy Scholarship 2025, applicants must:
- Be nationals of an African country
- Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (second class lower) in any discipline from a recognized university
- Be fluent in English
- Possess a DL-101 Certificate (free WIPO online course in Intellectual Property)
